Well first I wanna say that I have my computer back. That means, i will be back. Im going to start slow but when the spring comes. Im off!
Last night after a nice pizza date with friends, the ideas that were rolling were beyond incredible.
“Conceive-create- experience. What you conceive you create, what you create you experience, what you experience you conceive (Conversations with God 196).”
I have a great vision for this blog, but due to school and work and LIFE i have not been able to make this vision at all possible.
Now that I am on Christmas break I will explore the NY i love so much and show you guys very exciting parts of it.
Im doing research now and expect something exciting.
On Saturday i went to celebrate my Cousin’s Baby’s first birthday! I took the train to New Jersey with another one of my lovely cousins. And I must say the first thought that comes to my head when getting on that train is how quick and fast it is to get from 34st to Jersey City and how much cheaper it is, then going from the Bronx to Manhattan. A ride on the Path train is only 1.75. If you need to get from 34st to Christopher st. I suggest just taking the Path train save yourself 50 cents.
Enough about the train, now on to more interesting things. The food at this party was so delicious. I love Dominican food. There was Rice and Beans and Potato Salad, Yuka, Baked Ziti like Pasta, Maccoroni Salad, Pernil, Chicken, Im going to stop now, my mouth is watering.
Look how cute the baby looked.
She was so cranky during the night but i dont blame her, she is allowed to be a diva on her Birthday.
I’ve got a brilliant idea for this blog, Im changing its direction from A celebration of Random things i find worth celebrating and into a New York girl’s blog. And not the New York of Gossip girl or Sarah Jessica Parker but a regular persons NYC. It’s going to be good, I PROMISE!
Get ready for Whose That Girl!
I’ve abandoned this blog. Very typical of me to never stay with something fully. But ill come back. Promise!
The last time I saw you, I had the biggest urge to wave the friendliest hello. I try to deny it but I miss you. I know I’m supposed to hate you for how you treated me but I don’t. We were good friends. The last time I saw you I was tipsy and all but I’m glad that my pride still stopped me from saying hi. But I miss our friendship and our warm hugs, trips to taco bell, early morning text and late night calls. I can’t believe two years later we’re “enemies”.
Lesson learned: never fall in love with your best friend.
i want you
i made a few mistakes
no a lot of mistakes
but you have been my favorite by far
